Surgery update 9am

She did amazing this morning! No tears!!!!! Slept until 20 minutes before taking her.
I was able to take her all the way to the O.R
Last words from doctors were
This is a huge surgery
Don't expect we will be done before 5pm
She will likely be kept asleep for 3 or more days to be sure there is no bleeding or issues with the coronary artery.
She is for sure getting a new pulmonary valve today added to the rest of the work.
We will take very good care of her!
God is good!

I am going to bed now and will pray. Tomorrow morning when I wake up, the first thing I will do is check on the blog. I am sure that surgery will be a success and I will wake up to wonderful news.

  14. Thanks for the update. We are praying in CT. Hannah's 1st grade class has their own team saying prayers for Ivy today.

I didn't want to say anything when I posted, but I was thinking it was going to be a long day. I figured if my surgery their took ten hours, I can't image how long this is going to take.

    Hugs & Prayers
