It's Lexi Jade Day!! 6 years home! 

She is the most precious, delightful, beautiful little girl and God knew all along how her story would unfold. 

We are so incredibly blessed to have her as our daughter.  Oh how we love her!

Growing Girls!

It's hard to believe Lexi will be 7 in December. I have warned the girls that I'm going to have to stick them in a pickle jar to keep them from growing any more but they just don't listen! Ivy is going to be 5 1/2 in November! Is that not incredible!?? Our little miracle has done some serious growing over the past year. She is enjoying 3 hours of school each day and seems to be responding well to the newest addition to her long  RX list. Both girls are eager for fall to get here. We are excited about an upcoming trip to the East Coast! Most excited to play outside again, go for bike rides, get back to riding horses and wear fall clothes without turning bright red and sweating... unlike these photos :)

I start my today today, so thankful, thinking about how abundantly blessed I am!

Ivy's Forever Family Day

3 years ago today we spent our last day in China with this little girl.

I was so excited for her to finally meet her daddy and her sisters and see what it felt like to have a family. There was so much love waiting for her at the airport that wonderful day. Everything was new and different and she was so very sick. 

She was and is so BRAVE

Today she marvels at the joys of having a family. She tells us daily how much she loves her family and how glad she is that I am her mommy and daddy is her daddy. Oh how glad we are that she is our daughter! 

Happy forever family day Ivy Joy. The world is a better place with you in it. We love you to the moon and back!
