Ivy Joy is Going to Boston!!!

9iz9dg

Dear Team Ivy!

Diana here, privileged to scribe for sweet Mary!  I am not going to make this long...  No time for that.  It's time to get on our knees once again for this little angel, we call Ivy Joy!!!!

Sadly, Ivy's fluoroscopy procedure today revealed no change..  Her blood clot has not dissolved and therefore her mitral-valve is not working..  She is deteriorating quickly, and therefore the decision has been made to airlift her to Boston Children's in the morning...

Mary has so much to do to quickly prepare for another potentially long stay on the east coast..  Will you please pray for Mary..  Pray that God will orchestrate her steps in the very short amount of time she has to get ready for this journey..  For Mary's children that will be staying back...  Especially, for Lexi who will be separated from her Mommy and her sister once again.. For Bryan as he manages it all long distance...  I could go on and on..  As my friend Mary said earlier today, God CAN do this!!

Mary will be in touch once she has time to breathe.

Thank you for standing in the gap!!!  It's time for battle once again..  Get your shirts on and get ready to  storm the gates of Heaven for the very precious Ivy Joy!!!!

I leave you with this verse:

Joshua 1:9
"Have I not commanded you?  Be strong and courageous.  Do not be afraid;
do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."

~Diana

  8. Mary, You are showing the world love and faith in action. I am praying God's mercy and grace for your whole family and especially for you and Ivy as you take this trip to Boston.

    Psalm 4

    Answer me when I call to you,
    O my righteous God.
    Give me relief from my distress;
    be merciful to me and hear my
    prayer.

  14. Oh, Sweet Ivy Joy! I only "know you" from this blog-but I shed tears when I read of this new set-back. Lots of people praying and at least this time, you 'know' your Boston team 'very well' and they know your heart, better than their own. Then add 'God's guiding hand' on top of theirs-and you have 'The BEST'. Will say extra prayers for safe travels and a quick resolution to your problems, so you can hurry back home. Also, 'peace' for your mom, dad and family. Peace, in knowing 'God has this all under control' & already having a strong bond with the Boston care team, hopefully reduces some anxiety. Ivy Joy-you have proven you are a fighter. We don't know why God has chosen this path for you and your family have already taught us all lessons about love, faith, hope & trust. We'll be thinking & praying for you and hope that your mom will soon be able to post a picture of you smiling & back home. Pam- Chicago

  17. Ivy Joy, our sweet princess warrior, keep fighting just a little longer, little one, until God uses the surgeons' hands in Boston to fix that stubborn valve. Please know how much you are loved and prayed for by everyone who knows you and your story. You have fought longer than most and we are so proud of you. You have become a little hero for us all. Praying for you all, Mommy, Daddy and sisters and brother. God is bigger than all of this.
