Ivy Joy Update!
Flight for Boston is leaving at 2:00!!!!! She's breathing on her own, and flying in her cushy car seat!!!! (Thank you Lord!) They are on a medically equipped plane, in-case there is an emergency!! Mary will be in touch tomorrow! Until then, keep praying for a safe flight and a hopeful plan!
Thank you!

Praying for you and Ivy Joy from here in New York. I'm awaiting my own special child from China and stumbled across your blog last night but have been thinking and praying for you all day. Got up early this morning and went to Mass for her, and will do so again tomorrow. God bless your family.

ReplyDeletePRAYERS SENT UP FOR YOU ALL!
ReplyDeletePraying and praying for Ivy Joy! Jesus be with her and let healing flow!
ReplyDeleteSending prayers from Indiana. Ivy Joy is so precious and deserves a life of fun and laughter with no pain. She's been through so much and yet she's still spunky and full of good cheer.
ReplyDeleteYou do not know me but I can honestly tell you that you and Ivy have been in my thoughts for weeks now -- ever since I first found your blog. Your sweet Ivy girl has been in my thoughts all day today and I will continue to think of her and your family. Your Ivy has inspired me to be a better Mom to my own children and she is such an inspiration to so many others. Take the best of care and thank you for keeping us all updated about your courageous girl.
ReplyDeleteWe will be praying for Ivy and her family from Columbus, Ohio.
ReplyDelete"be strong and courageous. do not fear or be in dread, for it is the LORD your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.” ~ deuteronomy 31:6 mary, you know all of us want to be in boston with you...to surround the hospital and join hands together...to pray loudly and lift ivy's name constantly before the throne of Jesus -- can't do that, BUT we know that Jesus goes with you and that is more than enough. He won't leave, He won't forsake. He is there. much love from minnesota.
ReplyDeleteI do not know you but found your blog through a Facebook friend from my China adoption travel group. We adopted an 11 month old baby girl from China March 2012 who has Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF). We did not know she had it until we had her back in the US. She has had repair open heart surgery and is doing well (now 7 months post surgery) and we pray she does not need further repair later in life. Only time will tell. I can only imagine your emotion of concern for Ivy Joy and I am praying the doctors in Boston can help her. My family keeps you in our thoughts and prayers daily!
ReplyDeletePraying that all of you feel God's presence and gain comfort from it. My Ivy prayer group is sending prayers, too.
