More prayers

Ivy never made it out of the operating room, one minute we were told she was ready to be closed up and the next minute time just kept passing by. After 2 hours I could not stand it any more. I asked them to call and check on her. The nurse that had been waiting on her to come to her room came out to tell us that Ivy never made it out of the operating room. She is back on bypass. I ask once again for crys out to Jesus, that He would give her very tired surgeon every thing he needs to continue to do the best thing for our daughter. That he would breath life into our baby and strengthen her heart as it try's once again to work on it's own. We believe He's got this. We thank Him for every day of Ivy's life. But let me tell you,.. This is hard! Mary

  47. Our family is also adopting a little girl from China. We have four little boys and my second son has HLHS. After his first surgery, he had a hard time coming off bypass and was on ECMO. I will never forget how that felt waiting, praying, and pleading for my boy. We are praying for your family while you wait, for your precious daughter, and for the surgeons for wisdom.

Sending hugs and many prayers to your family,
    Angela

  51. Oh Mary every word i read brings me back to Hannah's experience. Do not listen to the doctors when they start talking about percentages and remember that our God is bigger than all that. They gave Hannah a 30% chance of survival and she is a walking Miracle. God has sweet Ivy in his hand and this is all apart of her beautiful story that she will someday share with the world. I know how scared, and tired, and joyful, and overwhelmed you are feeling. You are doing amazing and God will meet you in your darkest moments. love you
