Of course I was shocked with the news of Ivy's graduation from this world and entrance into Heaven where her heart will work perfectly. And I cried for a darling little girl I have never met. And for the mother, father, sisters and brother left behind.
The timing of her Home-going is amazing. As you bring another daughter into your family, one has preceded you into Heaven. And the wonder that Ivy left while being so close to her daddy and little sister. Could it have been better for Ivy? As you said- no machines, strangers, prolonged pain and more. Just being transferred from this world to the next. Imagine the surprise, wonder and relief it all was for Ivy!
May God's Spirit be your true comfort and peace in the coming days and months.

I am broken-hearted at the news of Ivy's passing. I have followed this wonderful and amazing family since they brought Lexi home. I am praying for peace and comfort that only Jesus can provide at this most difficult time. I know Ivy Joy is now running and playing with a perfect heart in heaven.

I am so incredibly sorry! I wish I had something more eloquent to share. Truly, I am so so sorry for your loss. I've read your blog since your early days with Lexie and pop on now and then to quietly check in. I cannot imagine all your family is going through or the tsunami of emotions being in China. Please know that a stranger in NY is sending y'all love and thoughts for peace and healing and love.

I have been reading your blog since Lexi joined your family, as we too have a daughter from Hunan Province, and a son with a chd. We are devastated to read that Ivy Joy - such a joyful girl - was taken so soon. We are sad she didn't get to meet her new sister... but her positive vibes will surely be present in your family, Always and forever, in the good times and the hard times.
As your family is now working very hard to comfort each other and to find a way to cope with mixed emotions, we wish that Ivy's strength will help you all along.
Blessings from Belgium and thanks for sharing your journey xxxx

Words can never really adequately express my sorrow for what you must be going through. I am so very very sorry. I have followed your journey for a long time and have 'seen' the love Ivy gave and received from her family. She was an angel on earth and now she is an angel in Heaven. Please remember this: on warm sunny days, look up to the Heavens, feel the warmth of the sun on your face--this is Ivy reaching down to hug you. She is ok...playing with the little ones in Heaven with Jesus reading them stories. She is healed and is now watching over you. Hugs.

I am just now seeing this and still in shock.

I am so glad you have Charlotte, but also grieving your loss. Ivy's gain is immeasurable, but it doesn't discount your loss here.
