Someone forgot to tell Mother Nature that it is now mid September! We tied the record High today with Temps reaching 106!
We were blessed to be able to meet and spend the day with a wonderful couple of new bloggy friends from Canada on Friday. Poor things probably thought they were going to melt before they make it back to Canada. Anyway, it is a miracle how Bonnie found me and it is amazing that after a very very very long wait, she and her awesome husband and their 4 terrific boys will be leaving for China in November to be united with their baby girl Jane who happens to be from Lexi's orphanage! They will get Jane at the exact time we were getting Lexi last year, she will be the same age and everything!!! We are so over the moon excited for them and it was so awesome to watch the joy in their eyes as they interacted with Lexi and became more and more anxious to go get their sweet girl! Lexi took to them right away, she let Dave hold her a few times and she just loved playing farm with Bonnie! Bryan took the day off and we just hung out and enjoyed each other's company. I can't wait to see these guys again and take another picture with Jane in it!!!

She grabbed Bonnie's hand and spit it in her hand!! Bonnie just laughed and kept playing! |

We had an amazing day as well. Thank you so much for your hospitality, kindness and honesty. We cannot wait to get Jane, seeing Lexi made us yearn for her more than you could ever imagine. Lexi is stunning. She has a beautiful, gentle personality and it was an honour to spend the day with you all.
