Ivy Timeline update

We have been fingerprinted!! We have not been assigned an officer yet as of this morning but we are keeping very close communication in hopes of helping to speed things up. So far everyone has been quite kind. We just need them to be kind and QUICK!
I do not follow RQ so I'm not sure what the time frames are looking like for anything right now, I guess I should do that. I just keep plugging away, checking in at the uscis office, checking in with XQ from Baas and if nothing else they will all speed things up just to not have to deal with my *checking in* phone calls any more!

Heading off to the airport tomorrow for our special trip! I'm sure going to miss my Big's and my Hubby! Please P M me or comment here if you have tips on expediting with uscis. We have included our cardiologist letter of urgency in all paperwork so far. We hoped to get an email or something just saying yes we will expedite?? Is that me dreaming?
My latest update on sweet Ivy Joy is that we should hurry and get there... errrgh!!

I hope it goes really fast! We were a i600 family but when we had some issues changing countries we called everyday for about couple week and left a long very polite and very detailed message. Our TA was about to expire but we were lucky enough to find the right person to call.
Good Luck!

We were very lucky that our local office moved so quickly. We prayed A LOT! We will continue praying for your approvals to come quickly.

She is SO much cuter than Barbie!!!

When we were trying to get to Wesleigh, I had a USCIS problem and our State Representative stepped in to help. I don't know if you have any contacts there, but they extended Richard's fingerprint date by a month so we could travel :)

I can't wait to see that precious child come home!!

We tried everything with USCIS as well and had sent doctor letters too. It's so sad that China is faster with expediting then the US. I can relate to how you are feeling and you have been in my prayers so often. God is right by your side and he has Ivy in the palm of his hand. These heart babies are fighters. I know it's scary to get those updates and wish you could move mountains to get to your little girl. call me anytime and have a wonderful trip. xoxo

Mary - With our first adoption we had a terrible time waiting for USCIS to issue/approve paperwork - until we called our State Representative. His office was absolutely great in getting USCIS to do their job. Unfortunately our State Rep is not yours so not sure how responsive he/she may be but it is worth trying him/her. Good luck! Maggie

so adorable!! She's a doll!!

We too had issues at the tail end of our adoption, Guatemala was near closing the doors to adoption. We got help from the then Senator Obama's office and they were instrumental in helping us bring our daughter home.

I even have a letter from him welcoming her home.

I'll pray for you
