This is my dear friend Kim. Without her, the heart of her loving, wonderful brother, and the compassion I believe, behind this entire family, Ivy would not have had these 2 seamless trips home! And just so you know the heart of my dear friend... She flew round trip with us both times! She is selfless and beautiful inside and out! And this time we even had the joy of her little girl Annie riding along!
I was so taken by the joy in Ivy as she looked out the window and saw all of her family outside of the airplane window that I had to get it on video! This made our family a little impatient so many of them ended up walking right on to the plane. It was a perfect birthday for Brady, who we all lovingly call Bubby! His mom and sister were home and he got to ~fly~ a plane!
Can you just feel how happy they were to see each other? Oh my goodness! Beautiful!
I had never been so exhausted and so rejuvenated in the same moment! Home, at last!
Saying Goodbye meant we were staying home this time!
I love these 2 girls!
They are as genuine as they appear!
As beautiful in real life as on this screen.
And as fun to be around as you could possibly imagine!
And though we met in unfortunate circumstances, there is nothing unfortunate about our new friendship and our forever commitment to keep our connection as close as family!
We love you Kim and Annie Kate! Thank you to everyone in this family, your concern and your prayers have all been felt! Thank you Teddy for the blow dryer :) Meaghan for the special deliveries (especially Ivy's bag of potatoes) Thank you Timmy for always having something sweet to say! Thank you Molly and Daniel, for allowing your precious mom to join us in Boston! I love to watch how she glows any time she speaks of you two! Thank you Tim for giving up your sweetheart every time she chose to sacrifice herself for us! She is an incredible woman, but I know you already know that very well! Thank you my sweet angel Annie, for spending time with Ivy and making her feel so at home while you were around!!!!

Now THAT's joy!!! What a lovely welcome home. You have a beautiful family!
Still here praying and rejoicing in awe of the miracle and love this little baby girl continues to give witness to. What happiness and joy to watch unfold, may it continue to strengthen Ivy as she learns all the love she spread across the world for all to see and share. Rest and smile as your faith, love and hope has brought you home.
